KEY PRINCIPLES FROM THIS MESSAGE:
Faith is vindicated by the works it produces.
William Lane on Biblical Discipline The Biblical concept of discipline combines the nuances of training, instruction, and firm guidance with those of reproof, correction, and punishment.
“conformed” – from summorphos – means properly, conformed, by sharing the same inner essence–identity (form); showing similar behavior from having the same essential nature (ref: Php 3:7-11)
As a child of God, you have been PREDESTINED (your destiny was set before you were born) to be “conformed to the image of His Son”!!!
When you understand GOD’s divine design for suffering, then you EMBRACE it!!!
Since our Father loves His children, He disciplines them. Said discipline is meant to sanctify His own, which means that His divine intention is that we “be conforming us into the image of His Son” (Ro 8:29).
God has a habit of disciplining our WHOLE bodies through a variety of suffering. Same goes corporately in the Body of Christ.
