Death is insurmountable. We’re born in a condition (dead) in which we cannot even help ourselves – dead people can’t do anything (especially not resurrect themselves!).
Death is insurmountable…but not for Christ (who IS God).
Christ overcame death because you were incapable of it. And being baptized into union with Him at salvation means you have also been baptized into His death and resurrection!
