We’re truly free when we rely upon Him for everything, and He’s not only our first love, but our only love.
We mustn’t EVER be wholly dependent on any one aspect of our lives as if it were something we couldn’t do without.
Our dependence must be on the Lord ALWAYS and in EVERY way!
This life being a drop in the bucket, our destiny being with God and Christ… why don’t we live like it??? Why don’t we live in that reality??
OT sacrifices NEVER cleansed a person’s conscience, NOR did they ever provide them with forgiveness for their sins – they were merely “pointers to” the real deal – Christ.
Ritual without reality is dead works. While good works reveal our faith (ala Jas 2), our works do not justify us (Ro 3:28). We are always justified by faith (Ro 4:1-12).
“Conscience”: it is the point at which a person confronts God’s holiness.
Have the courage (faith) to put atheists back on their heels, out of love.
