God has the power to raise a storm and still it. Dwell on this – behind every iota of suffering you’ve ever endured is God’s will. For perspective’s sake, let’s face it, the vast majority of our suffering is self-inflicted through our own personal sinning.

What Jesus was teaching His disciples in Luke 12:22-31 was threefold. First, our daily needs are small, much smaller than we have been deceived into thinking. Second, not only can we live simple lives, but we should. Third, why should a believer be anxious about the future?

You don’t need the history of how a mountain was formed, or even to understand the underlying rock structures that support you standing on its peak. You only need to enjoy the transcendent view it offers you, in its most raw and simple form. Such is wisdom from above. “But the wisdom from above is first pure” (James 3:17).

Let us enjoy the view from the mountaintop, for that was Jesus’ vantage point. Learn to live a simple life and watch how magnificent it can be to look across the expanse that God has seen fit to bless us with.
The Truth Heals
We need the Great Physician’s medicine, not the world’s. We need His healing power, not our own. We need to be humble, not so arrogant to think we can invent other ways of salvation/deliverance. (Jn 14:6)
Love Exists in the Moment
Enjoy it, right now! Stop pining over yesterday’s or hoping for tomorrow’s – those times aren’t even real!

The Sphere of Love
You have a God-given right to abide in the sphere of love. This state of being is independent of any transactions/expressions of love you might experience, practically speaking. Don’t waste your time away pining/waiting for past/future love. Love is now.
‘Now’ is Beautiful
Regardless of your past or future, embrace the “now”. Live in the moment. If you are a believer, you are precious to God. Enjoy this fact always, disallowing anything/anyone from robbing you of it!
