Living in the Indestructible Love of God

The world is about GETTING love, while the Word is about GIVING love.

“brotherly love” – from philadelphia [philos = “loving friend” + adelphos = “a brother”] – means fraternal affection — brotherly love (kindness), love of the brethren; properly, affection for the brethren (fellow-believers).

Godly love is unconquerable, and this is the wellspring we always have to draw from!

Eternal Assurance from 2/2/20:

Do we forget that, by grace through faith, we believers are co-victors with Jesus Christ, “more than conquerors through him who loved us”? – Ro 8:37…It’s this love of God that not only saves us believers, but also keeps us saved.

From Heb 13:1 Continue is from the Greek word meno; meaning to remain, abide, stay, or wait, and also it contains the idea of permanency!

Prologue to Violet’s book:

Don’t ever question if He loves you. And if you do, He will find a way to tell you that you are His beloved. If His mercy and grace are unending, so is His love, and you are His, so why would He not love you? If He did not love you, He wouldn’t have found you.

But if the questions and the lies keep bombarding you and you must ask why, then ask, for He is not afraid of your sadness. He is not afraid of your fear. He is not afraid of your doubt, and if anything, He wants you to tell Him what’s wrong, and He will comfort you with patience.

I am convinced that nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Romans 8:38-39
