Permission To Rejoice

JOY is something we believers have every right to enter into, every day of our lives!

If our eternal salvation with God in heaven has already been completely purchased by the Lord Jesus and credited to our account… then we have no reason to let anything else of much lesser consequence steal our joy!

Pastor John MacArthur on “Joy” in Gal 5:22… a happiness based on unchanging divine promises and eternal spiritual realities. It is the sense of well being experienced by one who knows all is well between himself and the Lord (1Pe 1:8). Joy is not the result of favorable circumstances, and even occurs when those circumstances are the most painful and severe (Jn 16:20-22). Joy is a gift from God, and as such, believers are not to manufacture it but to delight in the blessing they already possess (Ro 14:17, Php 4:4).

From Jane in Kenya:There is much joy and gladness in serving the Lord. God’s people should be the happiest people in the world today, for we have Jesus to take our burdens and problems to.”

We know the God we serve, and to Him belongs power and steadfast love. (Psalm 62)

We mustn’t let our circumstances rule us, we must by faith rule them instead. By faith, we’re able to SING through every day in the devil’s world.

Being in Christ, we are able to have an overriding love throughout our lives, regardless of the warts of others.
