God is not only the source of all life, but the embodiment of it.
The Opposite of Life
Death is the opposite of life. It is what God promised mankind in the event they ever disobeyed Him. By its very nature, disobedience is a proclamation of ejection from the sphere of eternal life, namely from God (aka spiritual death).
Death
When man disobeyed God (at the Fall in the Garden), he had to be ejected from this holy place called “life”…or more specifically, “eternal life” or “life eternal”. Life and death are mutually exclusive.
Jn 18:9
to fulfill the word which He spoke, “Of those whom You have given Me I lost not one.”
And the truth shall make you FREE…
The Truth is unmistakable, unavoidable, immutable. It is also immovable, implying we must be changed (sanctified) to accommodate it, NOT vice versa. The sinful flesh despises this reality.
