Godly wisdom destroys idols. The world teaches and encourages us to make idols of our lives. The manifestations are many (e.g. social media avatars). On average, people spend more time cultivating and worshipping this idol than they do worshipping God. So much pain and suffering results.
By God’s power, we can take every stray thought captive to Christ. 2Co 10:5
Creating idols in our minds is equivalent to seeking other avenues of love that end in ruin. But GOD has the market cornered on true love! Idolize Him alone! 1Jn 5:19-21
Is it possible that you’ve been clinging to some image of your life as the end goal of living??
Being “in Christ”, don’t we now have a “better hope” of a better life and a better kingdom?!! Heb 7:17-22
