KEY PRINCIPLES IN THIS MESSAGE:
You have the right to be happy as a child of God. Not only that, but you have stupendous reasons for it.
Just Give Me the Truth, I’ll Deal With It – blog 7/19/24
People need to be themselves. The only Person capable of changing someone is God. So, it’s a good idea for the rest of us to figure out how to deal with others as they are. The only thing that makes this difficult is when people aren’t honest about themselves. How frustrating is that?

Jesus made listening to His words easy because He is truly authentic. He has never lied, even when it was difficult for His audience to hear. We ought to strive to be the same, for who knows when our words need to be heard? And the only way they’ll be truly heard is if the receiver trusts us to give them the truth.
We mustn’t let our happiness depend upon ourselves, or what we possess. It rightly can only depend upon Him, our loving Creator and Savior.
God didn’t save you so that you can take your newfound freedom to walk right back into bondage!
To be an “apostate”, there are very specific conditions that must be met first.
The fruit of the Spirit reaps spiritual truth, the fruit of the flesh reaps fleshly truth.
William MacDonald on Heb 6:6
They have reached the place where the lights go out on the way to hell…The enormous guilt of apostates is indicated the words “since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame” (v6). This signifies a deliberate, malicious spurning of Christ, not just a careless disregard of Him. It indicates a positive betrayal of Him, a joining of forces against Him and a ridiculing of His person and work.
